Gill Hicks
Synopsis:
'Walking miracle'
Ten days ago, Gill Hicks, the last woman to be pulled alive out of the 7 July 2005 Russell Square Tube bombing, set off on an extraordinary journey - walking to central London from Leeds as the latest step in what she calls her "peacekeeping mission". A month-long, 200-mile trip, it would intimidate the fittest of us. But for Hicks, who lost both her legs in the blast, it's a much more serious undertaking. She is walking on prosthetic limbs.
