The record sold more than 1.3million copies and was a No1 hit — which made writing the follow-up a tough task.
He says: “I didn’t know what I was going to achieve with the first one. I just wrote a load of songs that I felt good about.”
“This time I was expected to know how to do it again. And I was like, ‘Er, I don’t’.”
But, of course, James has pulled it off.
